21 Acres Culinary Program: Cook for a Week

Fresh Thinking; Cooking seasonally with sustainable ingredients sourced from local farms. The Cook for a Week Class is offered as part of the 21 Acres School.

Shop once, cook once but eat for a week. Personal chef Lesa Sullivan does this for a living and she will share her tips for clever ways to produce a range of delicious, fresh-tasting dishes from just one cooking session. Chef Lesa will show you how to turn a simple grocery list of local foods and a few pantry staples into an entire menu to last throughout the week. Standard Rate is $69, Discounted Rate for 21 Acres members is $59.

  • Honey-glazed chicken with fresh herbs
  • Roasted spring vegetable and faro salad
  • Rich chicken soup
  • Vegetarian muffaleta
  • Provencal-style casserole

Instructor: Lesa Sullivan

Lesa graduated from Seattle Central Culinary ARts Program in 1998. mShe runs her own catering business and is a chef instructor at several locations around the Puget Sound. Lesa cooks, teaches and writes about the food and flavors of the Pacific Northwest with a native's passion.

This on-going program at 21 Acres will feature culinary classes including the following themes: Cooking skills from raw ingredients; Meals from simple ingredients; Dinner parties and special events; Wine and food pairings; Outdoor grilling and pizza ovens; Special diets and allegory-free cooking; Raw food, vegetarian and vegan meals.
