Cob Building Workshop

The Project: Construction of a whimsical cob bench and dual-chamber oven.

Join us at this three-day workshop on July 14th, 18th, and 28th from 9 am - 4:30 pm to learn the history, process beauty & simplicity of building with cob - a natural, locally-sourced, raw, & healthy material. We will:

- Tour a cob “hobbit” house & imagine the possibilities

- Gain hands-on experience in all stages of cob building

- See your work take shape in 2 different cob projects –
a whimsical bench & a dual-chambered cob oven

- Celebrate your efforts with a garden feast fresh from
the cob oven you helped build

Kids 12 years & older are welcome - childcare may be available on request. Includes course materials & lunch. Bring gloves and prepare to get dirty! Instructor is Dulane Crist.

Suggested Donations may be paid by cash or through PayPal. $95 suggested donation for 3 day workshop, $40 suggested donation for any additional family member! RSVP by July 11th to reserve space. Early registration at Garden.Songaia.com/workshops helps facilitate our planning enormously.
