Community Energy Roadmap

Leading distributed energy and community-based solutions will be on display for participants to learn more. Cutting edge topics will be covered by industry experts and pioneering community leaders.

The program features  communities, large energy users, utilities,  energy/energy efficiency solution  providers and other experts  addressing one or more of the following:

Policies & Programs:  Incentives, regulations and other initiatives  that encourage energy optimization  decisions--including both those policies  implemented and in the discussion  stages.   Can include policies at a  corporate, local and county government, state or  federal level.

 Planning: Assessment,  analysis, planning processes and tools that  develop a clear path for a particular city,  county, state or region to optimize their  energy mix and efficiency efforts.   

Specific Projects  that harness the energy/efficiency  opportunities residing in municipal assets,  campuses, planned developments, and other  institutional and industrial settings. Includes  projects at the planning, build or  operating stages, and could address aspects  of designing, building, financing, owning  and operating.

  Technology Reviews:   Overviews or in-depth case studies on design  & operations of particular approaches to  renewable distributed generation, district  systems, micro-grids, alternative  transportation
