Gardening Basics for Garden Success
The Saving Water Partnership has partnered with the Cascade Water Alliance to bring you nearly 100 classes from March through October this year. These free classes are designed to inspire you while sharing practical advice on creating and maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes that are good for you and good for the environment. Please note that many classes require pre-registration through Brown Paper Tickets (online or by phone). Classes at retail locations are on a first come, first served basis.
Gardening Basics for Garden Success will be taught by Don Marshall, Lake Washington College technical instructor and author. Overwhelmed with your garden and don't know where to start? Horticultural instructor and author Don Marshall will help you understand how to select the best plants for your garden's conditions, transplanting techniques, the critical need for good soil, whether to fertilize and how to control weeds. This class is perfect for new gardeners or those who wish to fine-tune their green thumbs.
No pre-registration is required. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
