International Compost Awareness Week

The U.S. Composting Council invites everyone to join in celebrating ICAW, May 7-12, 2012. This year activities span the globe with celebrations planned across the United States, Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia and Ireland — composting advocates will be encouraging everyone to Compost!

ICAW focuses on building awareness of composting and its environmental benefits. . Innovative programs have improved community sustainability and promoted the use of renewable resources in landscaping, horticulture and agriculture. Together, we have put a face on composting.
