Introduction to Rainwater Harvesting

The Saving Water Partnership has partnered with the Cascade Water Alliance to bring you nearly 100 classes from March through October this year. These free classes are designed to inspire you while sharing practical advice on creating and maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes that are good for you and good for the environment. Please note that many classes require pre-registration through Brown Paper Tickets (online or by phone). Classes at retail locations are on a first come, first served basis.

Introduction to Rainwater Harvesting will be taught by Dan Borba, owner of Natural Rain Water. Rainwater has a magical quality for gardeners. It's pure, it falls from the sky and best of all, it's free! When done properly, rainwater can be safely harvested and used in your landscape to offset the need for potable water. Rainwater harvesting expert Dan Borba will teach you how to design and install a simple, functional rainwater system that will keep your garden in tune with nature's rhythms.

Register through Brown Paper Tickets online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/236393 or call 1-800-838-3006.
