  • 21 Acres will be buzzing with festive activities for the whole family at the fourth annual Pollinator Fest organized by Pollinator Pathway NW. There will be native plant info, organic gardening tips, a long list of inspiration booths and artisan vendors, a guest speaker, an Indigenous plant walking tour, and a tour of the PPNW pollinator garden on the 21 Acres campus. Don’t miss the fun!

    Education

    -Learn about the relationship between native plants and native pollinators

    -Discover alternatives to chemical pesticides

    -Learn how to attract pollinators to your garden

    -Learn about the importance of soil

    -Find ways to be a good pollinator steward and become part of the pollinator pathway

    Food

    We’ll have food trucks! Off the Rez will be serving made-from-scratch Native cuisine, burgers and tacos; and La Rivera Maya will offer Guatemalan/Central American food. And KAFA Coffee is here to create your favorite hot and cold beverages.

    Entertainment

    -Have your picture taken in a pollinator photo cut-out

    -Kid’s table – activities and fun for children

    -Face Painting

    -Entomologist Bob Gillespie will be back with his impressive insects

    -Enjoy an art gallery featuring the winning entries for the Woodinville Garden Club Pollinator Art Contest
