21 Acres Earth Day Farm Walk
21 Acres Earth Day Farm Walk
- date: April 23, 2022
- time: 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Regenerative farming has never been more essential to our local and global communities. Join us for a walk on the 21 Acres Farm this Earth Month to explore how agroecology, soil health & land stewardship can build resilient local food economies and impact climate action. Every fourth Saturday of the month, we will uncover what our farming in the Sammamish Valley looks like. Visit our animals, Organic fields, solar-powered projects, and much more.
To celebrate Earth Day and Earth Month, “Investing in Your Planet” is the global theme. On this farm tour, we will explore different ways we can invest our time, energy, and passion in climate action by making connections between our built environment, regenerative farming methods, and land stewardship. Learn how these seemingly unrelated areas work together to support biodiversity, ecosystems, and societal needs in reciprocal ways.
-Bring your questions! This interactive hour will be held in person on the 21 Acres campus. Join us in the lobby on the second floor ahead of the tour to check in.
-Please dress weather appropriate. Wear shoes you don’t mind being dirty!
