You too can have a “Seedy Affair” in the Sammamish Valley!
In this case, it’s a celebration of all things seeds on the 21 Acres Farm Market patio, from planning what you’d like to grow in your garden, to selecting seeds at the Seed Swap, planting your seeds and nurturing the plants through the season, then enjoying your harvest – and maybe even saving some seeds to share and grow next year.
There will be fun activities for all ages, including info booths, artisan vendors and a selfie booth. The 21 Acres farm staff will be on hand to answer your questions, and they’ll be offering children’s book read-aloud sessions, a seed sensory bin, and you can plant a seed to take home with you (for a small donation). Don’t miss the live music from 11 to 1!
And as always, we invite you to stroll the 21 Acres campus and check out the farm and wetlands, the pollinator demonstration garden and our green building.
The Ninth Annual Sammamish Valley Seed Swap takes place at 21 Acres during March and April. These “Seedy Affairs” events are co-sponsored by 21 Acres, Sammamish Valley Alliance and Sammamish Valley Grange.
