Join Meghan McKenna, cheese maker at local Cherry Valley Dairy, as she leads you in a hands-on class focusing on simple soft cheeses that can easily be made at home. This class is the perfect foundation for exploring home cheese making. Using local milk from happy grass fed cows, we will create delicious soft cheeses to compliment your winter meals, including Fromage Blanc and Fresh Ricotta. We will also cover the fundamentals of cheese making and dip a little into the art and science behind curds and whey. Round out the evening with cheese sampling, fresh bread, and a seasonal salad amongst new friends! Vegetarian with wheat.
