Come learn about all things chocolate in this hands-on bean-to-bar chocolate-making class. We’ll roast beans and then winnow them (separate the nibs from the shells). Then we’ll go through the processes of grinding, tempering and molding. We’ll also take a deep dive into chocolate tasting by sampling different origins and cacao percentages.
This will be a fun and useful class whether you just want to learn more about this extraordinary food or you’re thinking of making your own chocolate at home.
We’ll use sustainably sourced cacao and sugar, of course.
