A crepe by any other name would taste as sweet… or savory! Join culinary instructor and avid gardener Cat Olson for a quick walk on the 21 Acres Farm to gather last minute ingredients, then return to the kitchen for this hands-on class. Many cultures have pancakes; some slathered in maple syrup, some topped with caviar, and some stuffed with curry spiced potatoes. The French version is a crepe. Ingredients are versatile and adaptable to wherever you’re living – the fillings change with the seasons and are delicious all year long.
Our Pacific Northwest influenced menu will include savory buckwheat crepes stuffed with wild mushrooms and cheese, kale, ham and egg, as well as sweet crepes with cream and summer fruits and, of course, chocolate. Bon appétit! With meat, dairy, and eggs.
