Cooking Class: Mediterranean Small Plates
Cooking Class: Mediterranean Small Plates
- date: July 11, 2017
- time: 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
All around Greece and the Mediterranean, locals gather in the middle of the afternoon for a little drink and meze. Meze, a Greek social tradition, is equally centered on local food and local community, just like 21 Acres! Inspired by her heirloom family recipes, culinary instructor Andrea Christensen will teach you how to create and assemble a feast of small plates featuring ingredients fresh from the 21 Acres Farm and other local farms. Class will begin with a walkthrough of the 21 Acres Farm to gather seasonal ingredients, then return to the kitchen to create your own Mediterranean small plates feast.
The Meze Table isn’t complete without a soft spread like Haintari (yogurt dip with carrots, mint, and coriander), Lamb & Feta Keftes (meatballs), other seasonal recipes and great conversation! With meat and dairy, wheat optional.
