First Saturday in the Farm Market

- time: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Join us for First Saturdays in the Farm Market. Enjoy cooking demos by guest chefs, learn how to use seasonal produce, acquire an essential skill, or find out something new about our farmers, products and growing practices.
This month’s First Saturday we welcome back our own Farmer Andrew, who will be teaching us how to save tomato seeds. Do you have a favorite variety in your yard? Bring along one of the fruits and work hands-on with Andrew to harvest the seeds for next year.
Our guest chef this month is Cody Castiglia who will also be celebrating tomatoes with his Heirloom Tomato Crostini appetizer. Cody calls this a foolproof recipe and a guaranteed crowd pleaser!
Finally, join Liesl in making quick refrigerator pickles – a great activity for all ages and a simple technique to reduce food waste in your kitchen.
