Kids’ Farm Tour (ages 6-10)
Kids’ Farm Tour (ages 6-10)
- date: May 13, 2023
- time: 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Hey kids, did you know that bats and butterflies and many other animals help farmers grow our food?
Join us at 21 Acres during Pollinator Fest! on May 13th for a fun farm tour designed specifically for curious 6 to 10-year-olds who are excited to learn about bees, veggies, and seeds. There will be hands-on outdoor learning, games, crafts, and a walk on our farm, where we’ll be learning about pollination, why pollinators are so important, and how a plant grows.
Please use the link below to register your child in advance – space is limited for this free activity. Be sure to dress for the weather; boots are recommended for walking around our sometimes-muddy farm. Parents are welcome to tag along with their children.
Stick around after the Kids’ Farm Tour and enjoy Pollinator Fest! at 21 Acres. Our Spring Celebration Market takes place on the Farm Market Patio, with vendors, music and food from 10:00 to 3:00; and Pollinator Pathway NW will be offering informative speakers from 11:00 to 3:00 and pollinator garden tours on the farm at 11:30 and 1:30.
