Join us for the first 21 Acres networking meet-up for artisan food processors: May 11, 10-11am. If you’re a young food business or just getting started in exploring how to bring a food product to market or launching a food service organization, this is an ideal opportunity to get to know other people who are in a similar situation.
The group will foster dialog and resource-sharing among those who care about improving the local food economy. The hope is to create a sense of solidarity among like-minded people who can support one another. This is an unmoderated group and an ideal format to discuss relevant topics of interest (ie branding, marketing, food safety planning, local ingredient sourcing from area farms, limiting carbon footprint methods, etc.), share resources (ie attorneys, labeling, shipping, etc.) and even invite guest speakers to address areas of interest.
This first gathering on May 11 will be a trial. If participants like the idea and want to continue getting together we’ll define regular set days and times for meeting.
