Join the 21 Acres networking meet-up for artisan food processors: Saturday, June 29, 10-11am. If you’re a young food business or just getting started exploring how to bring a food product to market or launching a food service organization, this is an ideal opportunity to get to know other people who are in a similar situation.
The inaugural meetup was held May 11 and the dynamic group named themselves the Fabulous Foodie Community. Come participate in this friendly group and help foster dialog and resource-sharing among those who care about improving the local food economy. We’re working to create a sense of solidarity among like-minded people who can support one another. This is an unmoderated group and an ideal format to discuss relevant topics of interest (ie branding, marketing, food safety planning, local ingredient sourcing from area farms, limiting carbon footprint methods, etc.), share resources (ie attorneys, labeling, shipping, etc.) and even invite guest speakers to address areas of interest.
The June 29 meeting will be focused on social media — how to launch and cultivate a presence to create brand awareness and drive sales.
Meetups will be held on the last Saturday of the month at 10am.
