“Off-Season Seed Reading” Book Club
- date: February 8, 2025
- time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Co-hosted by 21 Acres and the Woodinville Farmers Market, this four-session “Off-Season Seed Reading” series will be a fresh and easy take on the typical book club.
Our inaugural title is Barbara Kingsolver’s, Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life, a memoir detailing her family’s journey away from the industrial-food pipeline to a rural life in which they vow to buy only food raised in their own neighborhood, grow it themselves, or learn to live without it.

*BONUS: Attend this event, and you’ll receive 10% off your purchase in our Farm Market that day!
From Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: “This is the story of a year in which we made every attempt to feed ourselves animals and vegetables whose provenance we really knew . . . and of how our family was changed by our first year of deliberately eating
food produced from the same place where we worked, went to school, loved our neighbors, drank the water, and breathed the air.”
