Tree Pruning Workshop at the Farm (Afternoon Session)
Tree Pruning Workshop at the Farm (Afternoon Session)
- date: October 9, 2021
- time: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Prune with confidence! Certified arborist Tom Quigley will lead a hands-on, 90-minute pruning demonstration and workshop on the 21 Acres farm. Get ready to get up close and personal with these trees—you will be working hands-on with landscape trees while learning to prune vine maple, willow, oak, linden, and a variety of evergreen trees. Bring your questions—discussion will include a review of tools and techniques, with lots of time for Q & A.
This program is provided for free. A donation of between $25-$35 is recommended. Donate here!
This workshop will be held outdoors on slightly uneven ground. Please wear good footwear with closed-toe shoes. It’s recommended to bring your own safety goggles and pruners (though pruners will also be provided).
Due to coronavirus concerns, space is limited to 15 people per session; be sure to sign up via Eventbrite. Masks are required in our building and Farm Market.
