The 21 Acres Kitchen sources every pesticide-free ingredient locally, reducing water demand, and utilizing all food parts to create zero waste while creating delicious food. Learn more about this holistic approach from Asako Sullivan, 21 Acres Kitchen Manager. At the same time, learn what it means to farm sustainably in the beautiful Sammamish Valley with SAgE Student Farm’s Farm Manager, Perry Acworth. Asako and Perry will address the integral relationship necessary between chefs and farmers in order to truly achieve a sustainable and zero waste food system.
Doors open at 6:30 pm for networking; Program starts at 7 pm. Tuesdays@21 are free events, but registration is encouraged.
