Volunteer Gratitude Garden Party

    • 21 Acres volunteers contribute thousands of hours each year tending to our farm and restoration spaces, stewarding our campus library, supporting our local food Farm Market, caring for our honeybees and pollinator habitats, and the list goes on.

    We invite all current, past, and prospective volunteers and their friends and family to gather on the farm for a casual garden party to express our gratitude and celebrate our wonderful 21 Acres volunteer community!

    Join us for live music from WritnWood, wood-fired pizza, yard games, and more. This event takes the place of our weekly Farm Steward Saturday event and is free and family-friendly. Your RSVP is appreciated, so we can plan for food.

    Transportation and Parking

    Free parking is available in our parking lot, though space is limited so carpooling is recommended. The number 231 bus runs along NE 171st ST and the 311 stops along NE 175th ST. There is a bike rack outside the Farm Market.

    Accessibility

    We are committed to making our volunteer events as accessible as possible. Please reach out to our team with any questions, concerns, or needs prior to the event. If you are not attending this event due to accessibility concerns, please let us know. We welcome your feedback.

    The 21 Acres farm is not ADA-accessible. The roads are unpaved, and the ground can be uneven. Our LEED-certified education center is ADA-accessible. There is an elevator in the building that goes to the second-floor restrooms. While our restrooms are not all-gender, we invite all guests to use the restroom that aligns with their needs.
