Volunteering: Farm Stewardship
Volunteering: Farm Stewardship
- date: October 22, 2022
- time: 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Are you ready to take direct climate action in your food system? Get your hands dirty and learn about regenerative farm practices at 21 Acres! Join us for Farm Steward Saturdays: 10 AM to 12:30 PM.
Work alongside knowledgeable 21 Acres staff on a variety of seasonal restoration and farm projects that build soil health and get the farm in shape for the next growing season. Your help supports local food systems by increasing farm productivity; building habitat for animals, birds, and insects; decreasing stormwater runoff; and storing carbon. Activities include seeding, transplanting, planting, weeding, mulching, wheelbarrowing, and more!
If you’d like to stay longer and learn deeper ecological processes of the farm after your volunteer, please register for our free Farm Tour!
