Izakaya (pronounced “E-zaka-ya”) is a type of informal Japanese pub, and they are casual places for after-work gatherings and drinking. Cold beer and small bites shared among friends are many Japanese business people’s favorite for hot summer evenings! Yuka will introduce some typical Izakaya style dishes, and how to arrange them using local ingredients from the Pacific Northwest. Menu includes Japanese style fried chicken “Karaage”, Braised Beef and Potato (Nikujaga), Chilled Tofu Appetizer (Hiya-Yakko), Chilled Seaweed and Vinaigrette Salad (Sunomono), and Blanched vegetable marinade (Ohitashi).

    Includes poultry and meat.
