  • A Pumpkin Walk, giant pumpkins, apple pressing, pumpkin games, cute critters, unique vendors…it’s all planned for the annual Sammamish Valley Fall Harvest Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 14, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at 21 Acres.

All ages are welcome, and activities are free!

This event is sponsored by the Sammamish Valley Alliance (SVA), a non-profit organization focused on enriching the public’s knowledge of local, sustainable, small-farm agriculture in the Sammamish Valley.

Do the Pumpkin Walk! Pick up your map and entry form at either the Bunny Station at Woodin Creek Village (at the corner of NE Village Square Drive and 135 Ave NE) or the 21 Acres Pumpkin Station, and get started. The route is just a few blocks long; find the six Pumpkin Stations along the Walk and jot down your answers to each posted question. Submit your entry by 2 p.m. at the 21 Acres Pumpkin Station for a chance to win prizes.

Taste freshly-pressed apple juice! We welcome back Sammamish Valley Grange President Tom Quigley on the 21 Acres patio with his 100-year-old apple press. Pressings at 10:30 a.m., Noon and 1:30 p.m. You can taste test Washington apple varieties, too.

Engage with cute critters, including fluffy bunnies, silly goats and more from Dragonfly Farm.

Meet Duke the farm horse, from Hawthorn Farm; he’ll be circling the south lawn with his pumpkin cart.

Smile for the camera at the 21 Acres Photo Booth near the Farm Market entrance!

Visit and shop with 21 Acres Fall Celebration Market vendors; meet new entrepreneurs and fan favorites.

See some enormous pumpkins grown by Sammamish Valley Farmers and guess their weight. Winners will be announced beginning at 2 p.m., along with Pumpkin Walk entries.

A note about parking: in case the 21 Acres lot is full when you arrive, there is ample parking nearby. Click here for a map.

Help us support our local small farms and businesses throughout every season by stopping by the neighborhood farm stands and markets that showcase agriculture in the Valley. Your purchases impact the economic vitality of the entire Sammamish Valley.

Thank you to the Sammamish Valley Alliance Organizing Committee, Sammamish Valley Grange, Olympic Nursery, Inc. and the King County Alan M Painter 2023 Community Engagement Grant for their support of the SVA Celebration events.
