Join us for Friday Tasting Time on the Farm! Bring your kids ages 2-6 to 21 Acres this summer for one, two or all three Tasting Time events: June 14, July 12 and August 23. These are the perfect opportunity for kids to get their ya-yas out in the beautiful outdoors among the fields of growing food and help them open their minds to eating fresh, locally produced food. Each date has a fun different theme: Green Cuisine Explorers, Little Herb-i-vores!, and Tea Time on the Farm.
We’ll learn just how yummy herbs and plants can be when picked from the farm! We’ll explore flavorful herbs and celebrate their amazing taste sensations. We’ll try them fresh, in a veggie dip and baked into yummy herb crackers – simple recipes that can easily be made with kid help at home. Come enjoy our new series – Summer Tasting Time!
