This summer, 21 Acres received certification as an EnviroStars Champion! This is the highest designation of the EnviroStars program. Our team, including Barry and Kelly, worked hard to gain this certification. Read the interview with 21 Acres Co-Director Robin Crowder here.
This green business certification provides recognition for WA state businesses and a web-based platform for customers to find them, as well as networking and incentive opportunities. (Look for your new favorite green business at this directory.)
Sue Hamilton at the King County Hazardous Waste Management program said of the 21 Acres LEED-Platinum certified campus:
“Your use of solar energy, composting toilets, organic farming, electric vehicles, and many more sustainable practices are an inspiration! Thanks too for sharing your work with others to help more businesses take on these activities.”
We’re looking forward to building new partnerships through this network. Are you a green business, or looking to improve your green practices? Learn more about how to get recognized as an EnviroStars business.
