We’re pleased to reintroduce you to three of our bloggers, Meghan Tenhoff, Amanda Bullat and Liesl McWhorter. Meghan manages our Harvest Share program and she is an avid cook for her family. Amanda leads our culinary class programming and is a Registered Dietitian. (Here’s a great photo of Amanda taking in the fantastic smells of a pie in a class last month.) Liesl McWhorter is the manager of our Farm Market. We’re in the process of migrating our old blog, 21acresblog.org, to this new website. Thank you for your patience as we do that — we’re picking our favorite posts from the last four years. Be sure to let us know if you have a particular blog post that you like.
We’re starting with Meghan’s posts about cooking and about the Harvest Share program which is like a CSA but its for low income families to be able to afford fresh fruits and veggies. If you’ve enjoyed Amanda’s “Nutritionist’s Pantry” posts in the past, don’t worry, we plan to continue them. Amanda always shares helpful nutritional information along with a really tasty, easy recipe to try. We also include Amanda’s articles in our regular “Fresh Sheet” letting people know what’s fresh in the Farm Market. Liesl often shares tips and tricks for products that she carries in the Farm Market — They’re often easy and always very tasty!
