You probably think this is an oxymoron! Having no or less waste with a houseful of diapers, clothes, wipes and toys may seem impossible, but there are some practical alternatives to raising a “zero-waste baby.”
Here are just a couple of ideas from Katherine Martinko, mother of three:
- Cloth diapers
- Washcloths not wipes
- Fewer skin-care products
- Used/re-purposed clothing
- Home-made baby food
- Fewer toys
- Minimal fancy gadgets and toys
