  • Join us for an in-person walk on the 21 Acres Farm to explore how agroecology, soil health, and land stewardship can build resilient local food economies and impact climate action. Every fourth Saturday of the month at 11:00 a.m. we uncover what farming in the Sammamish Valley looks like. Visit our animals, Organic fields, solar-powered projects, and much more.

This month, we’ll traverse our active Wetland Restoration area with Jess Chandler, our Restoration Specialist. While we uncover native plants, managed waterways, amphibians, and more, we’ll also explore just how fundamental restoration is as a farming practice and as a climate solution. Explore the connections between the health and ecology of your landscapes and how they support your food systems.

Bring your questions! This interactive hour will be held in person on the 21 Acres campus. Join us in the lobby on the second floor ahead of the tour.

Note: Farm tour is not ADA Accessible. This event will not have a virtual option or be recorded. However, we are closely monitoring coronavirus news and guidelines from King County and will provide updates if the situation changes.

Note: Due to coronavirus concerns, space is limited; be sure to sign up via Eventbrite. Masks and Social distancing are encouraged on Farm Walks. Masks are required in our LEED building and Farm Market. This tour also requires mandatory proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test within 48 hours. The last dose of your second vaccination must be at least two weeks prior to tour date. (Photo of vaccination card is acceptable!) However, in the event of a high covid surge, we will host this event virtually via Zoom. All registered attendees will receive email communication and Zoom links if we switch to a virtual platform.
